357th FG Model Gallery

"Flying Panther" Flown by  Capt. Eddie Simpson  Made by Steve Negley. Steve made the model from a Tamiya P-51B, 1/48 scale kit. Upper surfaces are Testor Model Master Olive Drab. Natural Metal Finish is Alclad Aluminum. Some of the insignia were hand painted and other markings were made from Aeromaster Decals. The Panther was hand drawn, transferred to decal paper by carbon paper then hand painted and applied to the model. Original artwork is shown below. Great job by Steve!
